Pace-setters & Front-runners
Pace-setters & Front-runners (Gangmakers & Koplopers) is a one-year pilot project organised by Trage Wegen VZW, zZmogh and Office for Public Play in various neighbourhoods in Gent, Belgium. The project blends participatory, play-based and artistic tools and settings to explore urban pathways as fertile setting for informal and experimental behaviours in public space. Pace-setters & Front-runners enables children, aged 6 to 12, to explore possible meanings of these urban pathways in relation to their daily experience, access and appropriation of the city and its neighbourhoods.
